When we are baptized, we receive the Holy Spirit. The presence of the Spirit in the life of the church leads to unity as believers, to holiness as distinct people of God, to empowerment for God’s mission, and to authenticity as God’s true representatives. We may be weak, but the Spirit helps us in our weaknesses.
