A Way in the Wilderness

2020 has without a doubt been a difficult year. But with God’s help, we can also come to think of it as a redemptive year. Never give up on what God can accomplish through our difficult circumstances.

Haggai: The Question of Priorities

In our Minor Prophets study, this lesson we look at Haggai. Haggai raises some hard questions about priorities. In a time of difficulty, it’s easy to grow lukewarm or apathetic. Haggai calls on the people of God to raise the priority of God in their life and experience the blessings that flow from the effort.

The Bride of Christ

In baptism, we form a binding covenant with God. God saves us as part of his Church…the Bride of Christ. We continue to honor God through our efforts to support and strengthen his Church, making our robes “white” for the day we see God face to face.

Servant Victory

In baptism, we connect ourselves with Jesus’ death. Because of Jesus’ humility which led to his death, God has exalted him to the highest place. When we are in Christ, we likewise have victory over death and peace with God in whose presence we can enter confidently because of his grace which surrounds us.
